Review of (champion blend)

I absolutely love the quality of recent beans coffee, they had ran out of the Son La G1 that I had purchased however they gave me the option to choose from there other blends I choose (champion blend) it's very smooth as described and very satisfying, I am a very satisfied customer, we was felt with by Sam and he is a great asset to recent beans 10/10

Usually got no complaints but this bag arrived and it hadn’t been sealed properly, or the seal had split in transit. Either way, a lot of the coffee beans were in the box and I’m not able to store the beans in the bag. Not had this issue with other bag sizes so might be a problem specific to this packaging.

Origin: Son La Province, Northwest Vietnam
Varietal: Catimor
Process: Polished, Semi-Washed
Altitude: 1,000-1,200m
Tasting Notes: Honey, Brazil Nut & Cocoa
Roast Profile: Medium-Dark for all brewing methods

From the highlands of Son La Province in Vietnam, this Grade 1 Arabica reflects the exciting emergence of Vietnamese specialty coffee. Cultivated at elevations of 1,000–1,200m, the Catimor varietal thrives in the cool, mountainous terrain, benefiting from nutrient-rich soil and traditional farming practices.

The polished semi-washed processing gives this coffee a unique complexity, combining warming spice notes of clove and nutmeg with subtle brown sugar sweetness and a smooth, lingering smoky finish. Its balanced, low acidity and clean body make it ideal for slow brews, like French press or pour-over, where its nuanced layers shine through.

Grown by dedicated farmers in small cooperatives, this coffee represents Vietnam’s commitment to sustainable practices and quality-driven production. With every sip, you’ll experience the evolution of a region known for its rich coffee heritage, reimagined for the modern palate.
