At RECENT, we believe coffee is a fresh product and should be treated like one.
Coffee beans taste good for two months after roasting, but in the first two weeks a great coffee tastes magical. That's why every coffee is roasted to order, using carefully sourced speciality-grade Arabica coffees and roasted only when they're needed; not the week before, or the day before. When you order.
It's not a gimmick, we build our business around it and go to great lengths to ensure the product we put out is something we'd want to drink at home. We're coffee nerds first and that's at the core of everything we do.
But great coffee is about more than what's in the bag, it's about the entire system surrounding it. From coffee supply and equipment to engineering support, training, media assets and ongoing guidance, we help businesses build coffee programmes that are consistent, profitable and enjoyable to run and we do it all under one roof, providing you with turn-key solutions to commercial coffee problems.
Our goal is to build lasting partnerships that lift everyone up, with people who just really love coffee.
Straightforward, Transparent Pricing
Our commercial coffee pricing starts at 20% off retail and increases based on your typical weekly coffee usage.
We calculate discounts around the amount of coffee your business uses over time, rather than encouraging large one-off purchases, helping to ensure you always receive the freshest coffee possible.
During your consultation, we'll talk through your expected usage, recommend the right products for your business and agree a pricing structure that reflects your requirements. We also offer trade-discounts on third-party brands across a range of products including WPM, William Fox and Blendsmiths. Please contact us for more accurate pricing.
Minimum setup standards
We go to great lengths making sure every bag of coffee we send out performs the way it should in your cup and we want the partners we work with to care about what they serve too. Freshness, consistency and proper extraction are at the core of everything we do.
To help maintain that standard across all our partners, we work with a few minimum setup requirements.
At a minimum, we recommend:
1. An on-demand grinder to ensure coffee is ground fresh for every shot
2. A commercial-grade espresso machine that has been serviced within the last 12 months
3. A water filtration system with filters replaced within the last 12 months
If your setup doesn’t currently meet these standards, don't worry; we can support you with equipment sourcing, installation, servicing and training to help get everything in place.
The best place to start is with a conversation, where we can understand your setup and recommend the right approach.
